The first wine of our portfolio, this exceptional blend is sourced from select vineyards in the sun-drenched hillsides of the Yakima Valley, renowned for producing high-quality Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes.

  • Food Pairing: Perfectly suited for grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. This blend also complements Mediterranean cuisine, enhancing the flavors of rich, savoury dishes.

2020 Sin Banderas "Red Rhône Blend" 

The 2020 Yakima Valley Red blends 57% Syrah with 43% Mourvedre to create a spicy bouquet that mixes black raspberries and cloves with crushed stones. It's round and silky smooth, yet full of energy with zesty wild berry fruits and an autumnal flourish of spice. This finishes gently grippy yet fresh with a suggestion of hard red candies. Drinking window 2023-2026.

2019 Sin Banderas "Red Rhône Blend" 

Inky in the glass, the 2019 Sin Banderas Red Wine is a Yakima Valley blend of mostly Syrah (67%) with the remainder Mourvedre. Black tea, iodine, exotic spices and creme de violette all parade on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and is filled with black fruits, salty tones and plenty of tension. Refined to consume now, enjoy this beautiful wine over the next eight to ten years. Drink 2022-2030- 91 points - Owen Bargreen

When the judges taste everything blind, sometimes their notes are kind of funny and rarely make it into our final write-up. But the phrase "Rich guys gold" was just too good to not use, as it succinctly expresses what we thought of this wine; it must be a big name, expensive wine that would appeal to high rollers. That's why were shocked to learn afterwards it was only $36, and thus the 92 Point score. Crafted from 67% Syrah and 33% Mourvedre, this is a robust, polished Rhone style blend with twice as much Syrah as Mourvedre and no Grenache, leading to a big, spicy flavor sensation with tons of dark raspberry, blueberry, and mocha notes with silky tannins. Only 6 barrels of this beauty were produced, which won't last long once the word gets out! 92 Points in the $35-$45 Category – The Wine Panel

2018 Sin Banderas "Red Rhône Blend" 

A GSM style wine with no G, this Rhone varietal blend is sassy and spicy, with a fun, juicy center of dark cherries, dried blueberry, anise, toasty oak, and dried herbs. A couple of hours of decanting will smooth its' youthful edges, and lead to a full, rich mouthfeel for a medium-bodied wine. Only 6 barrels produced. This wine should age very well, but if you can't wait, pair now with roasted meats and rich cheeses. 90 Points in the $35-$45 Category - The Wine Panel.

This Rhône-style red is rich, ripe and filled with red plum, blueberry and blackberry flavors undercut with a savory edge showing engaging dried herbs, white pepper, and mineral notes. Gain terrific momentum toward the finish, revealing pomegranate and dried cured black olive details that add complexity. Shows style and panache. Made with Syrah from Outlook Vineyard and Mourvèdre from Olsen Vineyard, aged 23 months in 100% French oak.

A blend of 67% Syrah with the remainder Mourvedre, this shows wonderfully smoky tones giving way to a deep core of dark fruits and violets on the palate. This wine is two-thirds Syrah and one-third Mourvèdre. The aromas and flavors are lively, with notes of raspberry, cranberry, black pepper, coffee, cedar and dried herbs. 2016 Sin Banderas "Red Rhône Blend" 

Syrah and Mourvèdre make up equal parts of this wine. The aromas offer notes of coffee, dark chocolate, herb, cranberry and ample barrel spicing. The palate is creamy in feel, with coffee, raspberry and cherry. Barrel spices linger on the finish. The oak plays prominently, but by and large it works. It has a long life in front of it. 90 points - SEAN P. SULLIVAN

2015 Sin Banderas "Red Rhône Blend" 

This Rhône blend of Syrah (80%) and Mourvèdre (20%) is rich and open textured, with beguiling aromas of bramble, dark fruit and notes of blood orange that mingle with expressive accents of currant, tar, dark berries and plum. The 2015 Sin Banderas Red Wine is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre sourced from the Yakima Valley. Ne*ding an hour to settle in the decanter, the wine starts with aromas of smoked meats, tar, and red cherry preserves. Forward and fruity on the palate, the wine shows off a nice combination of red and dark fruits with milk chocolate flavors. The balanced wine will cellar well over the next decade.
